Director of car rental company personally fined for underpaying workers

The former director of a Brisbane car rental company was personally fined $110,000 in the Federal Magistrates Court for underpaying seven workers. The Fair Work Ombudsman prosecuted the claim against the director personally after his company went into liquidation.
