Amanda is a Principal in our Family law team and an Accredited Family law Specialist
Amanda has assisted clients in working through their family law matters for in excess of 20 years. Amanda’s experience covers all facets of family law including complex children and property matters, and the specialised areas of surrogacy and adoption, throughout Australia and internationally.
Amanda is trained in the collaborative process of dispute resolution. Her approach is to focus on advice and assistance to clients with an emphasis wherever possible on working collaboratively toward a negotiated outcome. If litigation is necessary Amanda ensures her clients cases are prepared and presented to the court in the best manner possible.
Amanda is a keen advocate for the education of young lawyers. She provides sessional supervision in the clinical legal program at Monash university and is an instructor at Leo Cussen Centre for Law. She also acts in a voluntary capacity as a supervisor in the family law advice sessions at Monash law Clinics.
Amanda is a member of the Law institute of Australia and the Law Council of Australia (Family law Section)
