Welcome – Carmel Morrison

MST Lawyers would like to welcome new Senior Associate Carmel Morrison to the Family Law Team.

Carmel brings to the team a wealth of experience in dealing with complex property and parenting cases, derived from 33 years of practicing almost exclusively in Family Law.

She has experience in all aspects of Family Law and Family Violence Intervention Orders including parenting matters, and financial matters which involve corporate and trust structures, self-managed super funds, family trusts, CGT and tax issues, and various business entities. She also has experience in same sex and defacto disputes, surrogacy cases, contravention applications, child support and adult child maintenance, and Appeals to the Full Court of the Family Court of Australia.

Carmel is also a candidate of Master of Laws (Applied Family Law), and is fluent in the Italian and English languages, with conversational ability in French.

We are very glad to have such a talented solicitor joining our experienced team which now comprises of two Accredited Family Law Specialists working alongside other family law solicitors, assistants and law clerks.
