Lawyer appointed Accredited Specialist
Andrea Olsson, an Associate Lawyer in our Private Client Services team, has been appointed an Accredited Specialist in Wills and Estates by the Law Institute of Victoria. Only lawyers with enhanced skill levels and substantial involvement in their field of expertise gain accredited specialist status.
Andrea was admitted to practice in March 2003 and joined Mason Sier Turnbull in October 2005. She developed an interest in law when studying her economics degree and graduate diploma at Monash University. She particularly enjoyed practising in the Wills and Estates area in her role as a general practitioner in a country town law firm.
Andrea enjoys meeting with clients to plan and implement their estate planning objectives. She works with clients to effectively administer deceased estates and has assisted clients to settle a range of disputes relating to Wills and Estates, superannuation and VCAT guardianship and administration orders.
Andrea has a strong commitment to contributing to the local community and has been a member of Rotary since 2007. She is now the current president of the Rotary Club of Monash and gives her time freely to ensure the success of this Club continues in its work with the local Monash community. Andrea regularly presents information sessions on Wills and Estates to community groups to educate them on protecting their hard earned assets.
MST congratulates Andrea on her Accredited Specialisation achievement. Andrea’s team leader, Paul Watkins, is also an Accredited Specialist in Wills and Estates and Business Law.
