Iced Dough-Vo Becomes a Pink Iced Bobby Dazzler

As mentioned in our recent newsletter, Arnott’s threatened court proceedings against Krispy Kreme for its use of the term “Iced Dough-Vo” for its doughnut range topped with a pinked fondant icing sprinkled with coconut. Arnott’s considered “Iced Dough-Vo” was similar to Arnott’s “Vo-Vo” trade mark, and sounded (and looked!) almost identical.

We are now tickled pink to report that the parties have resolved their differences, with the “Iced Dough-Vo” becoming the “Pink Iced Bobby Dazzler”. It remains to be seen whether anyone else will take objection to the new branding!
