Who’s Who Legal release annual guides on Australia and New Zealand’s leading lawyers and consultant experts. Recommendations are selected based on independent research with clients and industry peers.

We would like to congratulate our Principals Alicia Hill, John Sier, Philip Colman, and Raynia Theodore on being recommended by Who’s Who Legal in recognition of their work in Franchising.

Alicia’s work as an Accredited Commercial Litigation Specialist, Nationally Accredited Mediator and graded Arbitrator as well as roles such as on the ACCC’s Consultative Committee for Small Business and Franchising has once again been recognised. With over 21 years of experience, she continues to demonstrate her expertise to a high standard.

Having commenced at MST Lawyers almost 40 years ago, it has been a privilege to witness all of John’s achievements throughout the years. With his extensive international and domestic background in corporate and franchising law, and his considerable network of national and international colleagues, it is no surprise that John continues to receive recognition from his peers.

Philip has been an Accredited Specialist in Commercial Litigation, alongside being a Nationally Accredited Mediator for many years. Philip has been commended for receiving widespread acclaim as an ‘outstanding lawyer’ who is ‘incredibly effective in franchising transactions and dispute resolution’. With extensive experience in the commercial and franchising spheres, Philip has once again received recognition from Who’s Who for his efforts.

Raynia has been previously recognised by Best Lawyers and Who’s Who Legal for her efforts in franchising law. She has extensive experience in commercial, franchising and leasing law and acts for many well-known domestic retail chains and several international franchisors who export to Australia or wish to expand into Australia. Raynia’s understanding of the complex challenges which accompany businesses has once again caused her to be recognised as a leader in the franchising space.

Once again, we sincerely congratulate Alicia, John, Philip, and Raynia on this fantastic achievement. This acknowledgement from their peers for their outstanding work is a very well-deserved and inspiring feat.
