Copyright in Building Plans

We have observed an increase in cases of alleged infringement of the copyright in building plans. The increase in these claims tends to be inversely proportional to the level of building activity! The following flow chart can be used as a risk analysis tool. This can be used to determine whether any particular claim of infringement in building plans is one where the risk of finding an infringement is low or severe, or at some stage between these two extremes.
