The panel of international family law authorities spoke at specialisation sessions on the topic of child maintenance and child support.
In these interactive sessions, speakers from Hong Kong, China and Australia discussed with lawyers from Singapore, the factors taken into consideration in their jurisdictions when determining the quantum of reasonable maintenance for a child, along with mechanisms and challenges involved in applying child support formulas and tables.
