Combining a legal career with motherhood

I left a busy city firm to join MST nearly 10 years ago.  When I met the Principals, I was instantly impressed by their friendliness and by the warmth of their welcome.

The encouragement and mentoring that I have received throughout my time at MST, both personally and professionally, have empowered me to achieve things that I might have otherwise thought were beyond my reach.  I have been given considerable autonomy from a young age and have worked on complex matters for substantial clients.  I have been trusted with the privilege of being MST's representative on committees and boards, including the Victorian Chapter of the Franchise Council of Australia, enabling me to build my profile within that industry.

I have been on maternity leave twice, each time making the decision to return to MST.  MST has been extremely supportive in accommodating my need for part time work and flexible working hours.  MST has also been very supportive of my responsibilities as a parent and and has made arrangements to enable me to undertake parenting duties while at work.
