Fotini is an Associate.  Her extensive experience in litigation, management, commercial law and international financial services has enabled her to develop expertise in commercial and corporate issues in a diverse range of contexts, ranging from advice on general corporate matters to complex multi‑million dollar international refinance and other commercial transactions.  Fotini's emphasis on excellent client service and achieving commercial results for her clients is a testament to her background in family business.

Fotini's practice focuses on the following areas:

• corporate acquisitions, structuring and advice
• asset protection and succession strategies advice
• shareholder, unit holder and partnership agreements and disputes
• mergers, asset, share and unit sales and acquisitions of businesses, including SMEs
• sales and acquisitions of specialist businesses, including pharmacies and wholesale and retail travel agencies
• general corporate advice including the drafting of commercial agreements such as distribution, licence and service agreements

Major commercial transactions include:

• the management of the refinance of securities held by the Australian, Singaporean and New Zealand subsidiaries of a US holding company to secure a USD$180 million refinance
• an $11 million sale of a wholesale travel agency to a national travel service provider

Fotini’s career commenced in a boutique firm as a commercial litigator before going on to manage Springvale Monash Legal Service, Australia’s largest client based community legal service.  Fotini was also an Honorary Lecturer of the Monash University Faculty of Law and taught the Professional Practice subject to final year law students in addition to her management duties.  Prior to commencing with the firm Fotini lived in Europe for 3 years and was a legal consultant in Financial Services at Deloitte in Duesseldorf, Germany. 

Fotini is currently undertaking a Graduate Diploma in Applied Corporate Governance.  She is an accredited Family Business Adviser and is fluent in Greek and German.
